Mobilising for Development is a pioneering five-year governance programme in Northern Nigeria.
It aims to contribute to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by improving:
- Equitable access to services
- Local and state level accountability
- The relationship between communities, service providers and policy makers.
M4D catalyses improvements in existing services, nurtures innovation and promotes and expands engagement and accountability.
It helps different groups work together on issues of shared interest and convergence – using these as a springboard for collective action for change.
